ABOUT THE PROJECT

A Dining Experience Reimagined.

Blakeford at Green Hills in Nashville, TN underwent a three-year expansion and renovation that fundamentally reimagined how residents experience dining, community, and daily life. SCOPOS provided food service design and complete venue branding across all dining environments — from casual to destination, indoors to open air.

The project introduced Root, a fast-casual bistro with hearth and grill; Vine, a flex bar that shifts from morning coffee to evening lounge; Luke's, an elevated destination restaurant; Busy B, a grab-and-go market; and Fireflies, an outdoor kitchen and dining terrace. Together they create a seamless continuum of hospitality across every moment of a resident's day.

Names that tell a story.

Every venue at Blakeford was given a carefully crafted identity rooted in the community's Nashville setting, its residents, and the natural world surrounding it. SCOPOS developed brand names, visual identities, and environmental graphics for all dining venues — from the main floor through assisted living, skilled care, and neighborhood café spaces — ensuring that every resident, regardless of care level, experiences the same warmth and quality at every table.

Fast Casual Bistro

Rooted in sustainability and local flavor, Root anchors the community's daily dining with hearth-fired, made-to-order meals and a warm, grounded atmosphere that nods to the environment.

Flex Bar

Named to synergize with Root, Vine evokes connectedness, growth, and fruitfulness — symbolizing both coffee culture in the morning and wine culture in the evening, from one versatile space.

Destination Restaurant

Named in honor of Luke Gregory, a beloved figure in the community, Luke's reflects his warm servant heart and captivating smile through an elevated dining experience with refined cuisine.

Grab & Go

Playful and direct, Busy B captures the convenience and energy of residents and staff always on the move — a catchy name that tells you exactly what the experience delivers.

Outdoor Kitchen & Dining

Capturing the simplicity and joy of summer evenings outdoors, Fireflies extends the Lakeside Clubroom brand with a casual, energetic spirit that brings the community into open air.

Rooftop Terrace

Chosen for its sophisticated Mediterranean ambiance and commanding views, Vista embodies the elevated outdoor experience — a destination where perspective and pleasure meet.

Assisted Living Cafe

Inspired by a native Nashville bird, Finches Café creates a relaxed café environment that emphasizes harmony, community connection, and an uncompromised dining experience for assisted living residents.

Skilled Care Cafe

Reflecting the nurturing presence of the local redbud tree, Redbud Café creates a home-like feel that enriches lives in skilled care — warm, familiar, and deeply rooted in the Nashville landscape.

Neighborhood Cafe

Inspired by the common Nashville backyard visitor, Hummingbird Café brings sincerity and a wellness focus to daily dining — promoting healing, wholesome living, and a genuine sense of belonging.
